Poetree (poetry + tree) is an ongoing project I keep working on since 2013 to celebrate the beauty and importance of these ancestral beings.

Trees to me are sanctuaries, forms or art, living creatures with deep spiritual and vital connections with mankind.

I studied ogham, the ancient Celtic alphabet and lore connected with trees and I love hiking in nature: when I need to recharge and refresh my mind, body and soul, I walk out the door and get lost in the woods surrounding my home here in Switzerland, I always come back reinvigorated and with at least one new picture of a tree.

This project is a homage to visually render the poetry and beauty of trees as felt through my senses.
